The Bodleian Libraries offers an exciting range of opportunities for adult learners to discover and engage with its historic collections. These can be short one-hour events or longer workshops and sessions drawing upon the vast expertise of curators and staff at the libraries, University of Oxford academics and a range of scholars and guests.
Past visitors have explored early printing through hands-on use of the Bodleian’s printing press, enjoyed talks on everything from English medieval library catalogues to astronomy in the 21st century, and discovered the history of the University through tours.
Our vast range of learning opportunities are always changing and based on the Bodleian’s incredible collections of over 13 million items.
